Chicken Potato Rolls Recipe

Ingredients

  • 2 cups cooked chicken, shredded
  • 2 medium potatoes, boiled and mashed
  • 1 small onion, finely chopped
  • 2 cloves garlic, minced
  • 1 teaspoon salt
  • 1/2 teaspoon black pepper
  • 1/2 teaspoon paprika
  • 1/2 teaspoon cumin (optional)
  • 1/4 teaspoon red chili flakes (optional)
  • 1/4 cup fresh cilantro or parsley, chopped
  • 1/2 cup mozzarella or cheddar cheese (optional)
  • 1 egg
  • 1 cup breadcrumbs
  • Oil for frying

Instructions

  1. In a mixing bowl, combine shredded chicken, mashed potatoes, chopped onion, minced garlic, salt, pepper, paprika, cumin, and red chili flakes. Mix well.
  2. Add chopped cilantro or parsley and cheese (if using). Mix until all ingredients are well incorporated.
  3. Take a small portion of the mixture and shape it into a roll or cylinder. Repeat with the remaining mixture.
  4. Beat the egg in a small bowl. In another bowl, place the breadcrumbs.
  5. Dip each roll into the beaten egg, then coat it with breadcrumbs.
  6. Heat oil in a frying pan over medium heat. Fry the rolls until golden brown and crispy on all sides.
  7. Remove from oil and drain on paper towels.
  8. Serve hot with your favorite dipping sauce. Enjoy!
