Ingredients
- 2 cups cooked chicken, shredded
- 2 medium potatoes, boiled and mashed
- 1 small onion, finely chopped
- 2 cloves garlic, minced
- 1 teaspoon salt
- 1/2 teaspoon black pepper
- 1/2 teaspoon paprika
- 1/2 teaspoon cumin (optional)
- 1/4 teaspoon red chili flakes (optional)
- 1/4 cup fresh cilantro or parsley, chopped
- 1/2 cup mozzarella or cheddar cheese (optional)
- 1 egg
- 1 cup breadcrumbs
- Oil for frying
Instructions
- In a mixing bowl, combine shredded chicken, mashed potatoes, chopped onion, minced garlic, salt, pepper, paprika, cumin, and red chili flakes. Mix well.
- Add chopped cilantro or parsley and cheese (if using). Mix until all ingredients are well incorporated.
- Take a small portion of the mixture and shape it into a roll or cylinder. Repeat with the remaining mixture.
- Beat the egg in a small bowl. In another bowl, place the breadcrumbs.
- Dip each roll into the beaten egg, then coat it with breadcrumbs.
- Heat oil in a frying pan over medium heat. Fry the rolls until golden brown and crispy on all sides.
- Remove from oil and drain on paper towels.
- Serve hot with your favorite dipping sauce. Enjoy!
