Ingredients
- 2 medium potatoes, boiled & mashed
- 1 cup cooked chicken (shredded or finely chopped)
- 1 small onion, finely chopped
- 1 green chili, finely chopped (optional)
- 2 tbsp fresh coriander leaves, chopped
- 1 tsp salt (adjust to taste)
- ½ tsp black pepper
- ½ tsp red chili flakes
- ½ tsp cumin powder
- 1 tbsp lemon juice
- 1 egg (for coating)
- Bread crumbs (for coating)
- Oil (for frying)
Instructions
- In a mixing bowl, combine the boiled & mashed potatoes, shredded chicken, onion, green chili, coriander, and all spices. Mix well until combined.
- Take a small portion of the mixture and shape it into rolls or oval cylinders.
- Beat the egg in a small bowl.
- Dip each roll in the beaten egg, then coat with breadcrumbs.
- Heat oil in a pan over medium flame. Fry the rolls until golden brown and crispy on all sides.
- Remove onto a paper towel to drain excess oil.
- Serve hot with ketchup, chili garlic sauce, or mint chutney.
