Ingredients

  • 4 chicken leg pieces (drumsticks or thighs)
  • 2 tbsp olive oil
  • 1 tbsp garlic powder
  • 1 tbsp paprika
  • 1 tsp dried thyme
  • 1 tsp dried oregano
  • Salt and pepper to taste
  • 1 lemon, sliced
  • Fresh parsley for garnish (optional)

Instructions

  1. Preheat your oven to 425°F (220°C).
  2. In a small bowl, mix the olive oil, garlic powder, paprika, thyme, oregano, salt, and pepper.
  3. Pat the chicken leg pieces dry with paper towels and rub the seasoning mixture all over the chicken, making sure to coat it evenly.
  4. Place the seasoned chicken on a baking sheet, skin side up. Arrange the lemon slices around the chicken.
  5. Roast the chicken in the preheated oven for 35-45 minutes, or until the internal temperature reaches 165°F (75°C) and the skin is crispy.
