Chicken Broccoli Lasagna Recipe

Ingredients:

  • 2 cups cooked chicken, shredded
  • 2 cups broccoli florets, steamed
  • 9 lasagna noodles, cooked
  • 2 cups ricotta cheese
  • 1 ½ cups shredded mozzarella cheese
  • 1 cup grated Parmesan cheese
  • 2 cups Alfredo sauce (store-bought or homemade)
  • 1 teaspoon garlic powder
  • 1 teaspoon onion powder
  • Salt and pepper to taste
  • 1 tablespoon olive oil
  • 1 egg

Instructions:

  1. Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C).
  2. In a large bowl, mix the ricotta cheese, egg, garlic powder, onion powder, salt, and pepper until well combined.
  3. In a separate bowl, toss the cooked chicken and broccoli together with a little olive oil, seasoning with salt and pepper.
  4. Spread a thin layer of Alfredo sauce on the bottom of a 9×13 inch baking dish.
  5. Lay three cooked lasagna noodles on top of the sauce.
  6. Spread ⅓ of the ricotta mixture over the noodles, followed by ⅓ of the chicken and broccoli mixture.
  7. Drizzle with a bit of Alfredo sauce and sprinkle a layer of mozzarella cheese.
  8. Repeat this layering process two more times, ending with the mozzarella and Parmesan cheese on top.
  9. Cover the dish with foil and bake for 25 minutes.
  10. Remove the foil and bake for another 10-15 minutes, or until the cheese is bubbly and golden.
  11. Let the lasagna rest for 10 minutes before slicing and serving.
