Cherry Cheesecake Recipe


Ingredients

  • 1 1/2 cups graham cracker crumbs
  • 1/4 cup granulated sugar
  • 1/3 cup unsalted butter, melted
  • 2 (8-ounce) packages cream cheese, softened
  • 1 cup granulated sugar
  • 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
  • 2 large eggs
  • 1 (21-ounce) can cherry pie filling

Instructions


1️⃣ Preheat oven to 325°F (160°C).
2️⃣ Make the crust: In a bowl, mix graham cracker crumbs, 1/4 cup sugar, and melted butter until well combined. Press firmly into the bottom of a 9-inch springform pan.
3️⃣ Make the filling: In a large bowl, beat the softened cream cheese until smooth. Add 1 cup sugar and vanilla, and beat until creamy. Add eggs one at a time, mixing just until blended—do not overmix.
4️⃣ Bake: Pour the filling over the crust and smooth the top. Bake for 40–45 minutes or until the center is almost set.
5️⃣ Cool: Remove from oven and cool completely. Refrigerate for at least 4 hours or overnight.
6️⃣ Top: Before serving, spoon cherry pie filling evenly over the cheesecake.
