Ingredients:
- 1 lb smoked sausage, sliced
- 6 medium russet potatoes, peeled and cubed
- 1 medium onion, chopped
- 2 cups shredded cheddar cheese
- 1 cup sour cream
- 1 can (10.5 oz) cream of mushroom soup
- 1/2 cup milk
- 2 tbsp butter
- 1 tsp garlic powder
- 1 tsp paprika
- Salt and pepper, to taste
- 1/4 cup chopped fresh parsley (optional, for garnish)
Instructions:
- Preheat oven to 350°F (175°C). Grease a 9×13-inch baking dish.
- In a large skillet over medium heat, melt the butter. Add the chopped onion and sauté until softened, about 3-4 minutes.
- Add the sliced smoked sausage to the skillet and cook until slightly browned, about 5 minutes. Set aside.
