  • 2 cups all-purpose flour
  • 1 tablespoon baking powder
  • 1 teaspoon salt
  • 1/2 teaspoon baking soda
  • 1/4 cup (1/2 stick) unsalted butter, melted
  • 1 cup buttermilk
  • 1 1/2 cups shredded cheddar cheese (or a mix of your favorite cheeses)
  • Optional: 1/4 cup chopped chives, green onions, or jalapenos

Instructions:
