Cheesy Quesadillas Recipe

Ingredients:

  • Tortillas: Flour or corn tortillas  
  • Cheese: Shredded cheddar cheese, Monterey Jack, or a combination  
  • Optional Fillings:
    • Cooked ground beef or chicken
    • Sautéed vegetables (onions, peppers, mushrooms)
    • Salsa
    • Guacamole  
    • Sour cream

Instructions:

  1. Prepare your filling: If using a filling, cook and season it to your liking.
  2. Assemble the quesadilla:
    • Lay a tortilla flat on a skillet or griddle over medium heat.
    • Sprinkle cheese evenly over one half of the tortilla.
    • If using a filling, add it on top of the cheese.
  3. Fold and cook: Fold the tortilla in half, pressing down gently to seal the edges.
  4. Cook until golden brown: Cook for 2-3 minutes per side, or until the cheese is melted and the tortilla is crispy.
  5. Serve: Cut into wedges and serve immediately with your favorite toppings like salsa, guacamole, and sour cream.
