INGREDENT
- 1 lb ground beef
- 1 tbsp olive oil (optional, if beef is very lean)
- 1 small onion, diced
- 2 cloves garlic, minced
- 2 cups beef broth
- 1 cup milk
- 1½ cups elbow macaroni (uncooked)
- 1 tsp paprika
- ½ tsp chili powder
- ½ tsp salt
- ¼ tsp black pepper
- 1 tbsp tomato paste (or ketchup as a substitute)
- 2 cups shredded cheddar cheese
Instructions
- Brown the Beef
In a large skillet over medium heat, cook the ground beef (and olive oil if needed) until browned. Drain excess fat if necessary. - Add Onion & Garlic
Add diced onion and minced garlic to the beef and sauté for 2–3 minutes until softened. - Mix in Spices & Liquids
Stir in the paprika, chili powder, salt, pepper, and tomato paste. Then pour in the beef broth and milk. Mix well. - Add Pasta
Stir in the uncooked macaroni. Bring the mixture to a boil, then reduce the heat to a simmer. Cover and cook for 10–12 minutes, stirring occasionally, until pasta is tender. - Make it Cheesy
Remove from heat and stir in the shredded cheddar cheese until melted and creamy. - Serve Hot
