Ingredients
- 2 cups all-purpose flour
- 1 tsp baking powder
- ½ tsp salt
- ¾ cup plain yogurt (or milk)
- 2 tbsp olive oil
For Garlic Butter Topping:
- 3 tbsp unsalted butter, melted
- 3–4 garlic cloves, minced
- 1 tbsp fresh parsley, chopped
- 1 cup shredded mozzarella (or any cheese of choice)
Instructions
- In a mixing bowl, combine flour, baking powder, and salt.
- Add yogurt and olive oil, then mix until a soft dough forms. Knead for 3–4 minutes until smooth.
- Divide the dough into small balls and roll each into a flatbread shape.
- Heat a skillet or pan over medium heat and cook each flatbread for 2–3 minutes per side until golden.
- Mix melted butter with minced garlic and parsley. Brush generously over warm flatbreads.
- Sprinkle shredded cheese on top while hot so it melts, or place under the broiler for 1–2 minutes for extra gooey cheesy topping.
- Serve warm and enjoy! 🧄🧀🥖
Would you like me to also give you a quick oven-baked version of this flatbread (like a cheesy garlic naan style), or do you prefer the stovetop skillet method only?
