Ingredients
- 4 slices of bread (French bread, Italian bread, or sandwich bread)
- 2 tbsp unsalted butter, softened
- 2 cloves garlic, minced
- Β½ tsp garlic powder
- Β½ tsp dried oregano (or Italian seasoning)
- 1 cup shredded mozzarella cheese
- ΒΌ cup grated Parmesan cheese
- 1 tbsp fresh parsley, chopped (optional)
- Β½ tsp red pepper flakes (optional, for a little heat)
Instructions
- Preheat Oven β Set your oven to 375Β°F (190Β°C). Line a baking sheet with parchment paper.
- Prepare Garlic Butter β In a small bowl, mix softened butter, minced garlic, garlic powder, and oregano until well combined.
- Spread on Bread β Evenly spread the garlic butter mixture over each slice of bread.
- Add Cheese β Sprinkle mozzarella and Parmesan cheese generously over the bread slices.
- Bake β Place the bread on the prepared baking sheet and bake for 10-12 minutes, or until the cheese is melted and bubbly.
- Broil (Optional) β For a crispy top, broil for an additional 1-2 minutes until golden brown.
- Garnish & Serve β Sprinkle with chopped parsley and red pepper flakes if desired. Serve warm and enjoy!
