Ingredients
- 8 slices of bread (Italian or sourdough works best)
- 3 tbsp butter, softened
- 2 cloves garlic, minced
- 1 tbsp fresh parsley, chopped
- 1 cup cooked shrimp (peeled, deveined, and chopped)
- 1 cup mozzarella cheese, shredded
- 1 cup cheddar cheese, shredded
- 2 tbsp cream cheese (optional, for creaminess)
- Salt & black pepper, to taste
- 1 tsp chili flakes (optional, for spice)
Instructions
- Prepare Garlic Butter:
In a small bowl, mix butter, minced garlic, and parsley. Spread evenly on one side of each bread slice. - Cook the Shrimp:
Season shrimp with salt, pepper, and chili flakes. Lightly sauté in a pan for 2–3 minutes until pink and cooked through. Remove and chop into bite-sized pieces. - Assemble Sandwiches:
Place a slice of bread, garlic butter side down, on a skillet. Layer with mozzarella, cheddar, shrimp, and a little cream cheese (if using). Top with another slice of bread, garlic butter side up. - Grill to Perfection:
Cook over medium heat for 2–3 minutes per side until the bread is golden brown and the cheese is fully melted. - Serve & Enjoy:
Slice in half, serve warm, and enjoy your cheesy, garlicky, shrimp-filled grilled cheese! 🦐🧄🧀
