- 3 cups cooked chicken, shredded or diced
- 9 lasagna noodles (uncooked or oven-ready)
- 2 cups ricotta cheese
- 2 cups shredded mozzarella cheese
- 1 cup grated Parmesan cheese
- 2 cups Alfredo sauce (or your favorite white sauce)
- 1 cup shredded cheddar cheese (optional, for extra cheesiness)
- 1 egg
- 1 teaspoon garlic powder
- 1 teaspoon Italian seasoning
- Salt & black pepper, to taste
- Fresh parsley, chopped (for garnish)
Instructions
- Preheat oven to 375°F (190°C). Grease a 9×13-inch baking dish.
- Mix filling: In a medium bowl, combine ricotta cheese, egg, garlic powder, Italian seasoning, salt, and pepper. Stir until smooth.
- Assemble layers: Spread a spoonful of Alfredo sauce on the bottom of the dish. Layer 3 noodles over the sauce. Spread ⅓ of the ricotta mixture, ⅓ of the shredded chicken, some mozzarella, and a drizzle of Alfredo sauce. Repeat for 2 more layers.
- Top it off: Finish with remaining sauce, sprinkle mozzarella, cheddar (if using), and Parmesan on top.
- Bake: Cover with foil and bake for 25 minutes. Remove foil and bake for another 15-20 minutes or until the cheese is bubbly and golden.
- Rest & serve: Let it sit for 10 minutes before slicing. Garnish with chopped parsley.
