- 1 large loaf of French bread (or Italian bread)
- 2 cups cooked chicken, shredded or cubed
- 1 cup cooked bacon, crumbled
- 2 cups shredded cheddar cheese (or a mix of cheddar & mozzarella)
- 1/2 cup ranch dressing
- 2 tablespoons green onions, chopped (optional)
- 2 tablespoons butter, melted
- 1 teaspoon garlic powder
- 1 teaspoon parsley flakes (optional)
Instructions
- Preheat oven to 375°F (190°C).
- Slice the loaf of bread in half lengthwise. Place both halves on a baking sheet.
- Brush the cut sides with melted butter and sprinkle with garlic powder.
- In a mixing bowl, combine shredded chicken, bacon, ranch dressing, and 1 1/2 cups cheese. Mix until well coated.
- Spread the chicken mixture evenly over the bread halves.
- Sprinkle the remaining cheese on top.
- Bake in the oven for 12–15 minutes, until cheese is melted and bubbly.
- Garnish with green onions and parsley, if desired.
- Slice and serve warm.
