Cheesy Bacon Ranch Dip – A Popular Party Appetizer

Ingredients:

  • 8 oz (225 g) cream cheese, softened
  • ½ cup (120 ml) sour cream
  • 1 packet (1 oz / 28 g) ranch seasoning mix
  • 1 cup (100 g) shredded cheddar cheese
  • 6–8 slices bacon, cooked and crumbled
  • Optional: chopped green onions or chives for garnish
  • Crackers, chips, or fresh veggies for serving

Instructions:

  1. In a medium bowl, combine the softened cream cheese and sour cream until smooth.
  2. Add the ranch seasoning and mix well.
  3. Stir in shredded cheddar cheese and crumbled bacon, reserving a small amount of each for topping.
  4. Transfer the dip to a serving bowl and sprinkle the reserved cheese and bacon on top.
  5. Chill in the refrigerator for at least 30 minutes before serving.
  6. Serve cold with crackers, chips, or fresh veggies.

Tips:

  • For extra flavor, add a pinch of garlic powder or smoked paprika.
  • Make it ahead of time; this dip tastes even better after sitting in the fridge for a few hours.
  • Use turkey bacon for a slightly lighter version.
  • If you prefer a creamier dip, mix in 2–3 tablespoons of mayonnaise.
  • Garnish with chopped fresh herbs for a colorful presentation.
