Ingredients:
- 8 oz (225 g) cream cheese, softened
- ½ cup (120 ml) sour cream
- 1 packet (1 oz / 28 g) ranch seasoning mix
- 1 cup (100 g) shredded cheddar cheese
- 6–8 slices bacon, cooked and crumbled
- Optional: chopped green onions or chives for garnish
- Crackers, chips, or fresh veggies for serving
Instructions:
- In a medium bowl, combine the softened cream cheese and sour cream until smooth.
- Add the ranch seasoning and mix well.
- Stir in shredded cheddar cheese and crumbled bacon, reserving a small amount of each for topping.
- Transfer the dip to a serving bowl and sprinkle the reserved cheese and bacon on top.
- Chill in the refrigerator for at least 30 minutes before serving.
- Serve cold with crackers, chips, or fresh veggies.
Tips:
- For extra flavor, add a pinch of garlic powder or smoked paprika.
- Make it ahead of time; this dip tastes even better after sitting in the fridge for a few hours.
- Use turkey bacon for a slightly lighter version.
- If you prefer a creamier dip, mix in 2–3 tablespoons of mayonnaise.
- Garnish with chopped fresh herbs for a colorful presentation.
