Ingredients
- 1 box lemon cake mix
- 1 can (21 oz) lemon pie filling
- 1 package (8 oz) cream cheese, softened
- 1/2 cup granulated sugar
- 2 eggs
- 1/2 cup unsalted butter, melted
- 1 tsp vanilla extract
- 1/2 cup milk
- Powdered sugar (for dusting, optional)
Instructions
- Preheat oven to 350°F (175°C) and grease a 9×13-inch baking dish.
- Spread the lemon pie filling evenly at the bottom of the dish.
- In a bowl, beat the cream cheese, sugar, eggs, and vanilla until smooth. Pour over the lemon filling.
- Sprinkle the dry lemon cake mix evenly over the top.
- Drizzle melted butter evenly over the cake mix.
- Pour milk over the top to help moisten the cake mix.
- Bake for 40–45 minutes or until the top is golden brown.
- Cool slightly, then dust with powdered sugar if desired.
