Ingredients
- 1 lb (450g) ground beef
- 1 tsp salt
- ½ tsp black pepper
- 1 tsp garlic powder
- 1 tsp onion powder
- 1 tbsp Worcestershire sauce
- 1 cup shredded cheddar cheese (or cheese cubes)
- 4 burger buns (or brioche buns)
- 1 tbsp olive oil or butter (for greasing)
- Optional toppings: lettuce, tomato slices, pickles, ketchup, mustard
Instructions
- Preheat your oven to 375°F (190°C) and lightly grease a muffin tin or ramekins.
- In a large bowl, mix ground beef with salt, pepper, garlic powder, onion powder, and Worcestershire sauce.
- Take a portion of the beef mixture and press it into each muffin tin cup, shaping it to form a “cup” with space in the center.
- Fill the center with shredded cheddar cheese (or cheese cubes).
- Cover the top with another thin layer of beef mixture, sealing the edges well to trap the cheese inside.
- Bake for 20–25 minutes, until the beef is fully cooked and the cheese inside is melted and gooey.
- Remove carefully from the muffin tin.
- Serve on toasted burger buns with your favorite toppings.
