Ingredients:
- 1 cup all-purpose flour
- 1 teaspoon active dry yeast
- 1/2 teaspoon salt
- 1/4 cup warm water
- 1 tablespoon olive oil
- 1 cup shredded mozzarella cheese
- 1/2 cup shredded cheddar cheese
- 2 tablespoons chopped fresh basil
- 2 tablespoons butter, melted
Instructions:
- Make the dough: In a small bowl, combine the warm water and yeast. Let stand for 5 minutes, or until foamy.
- Combine ingredients: In a large bowl, whisk together the flour, salt, and yeast mixture. Add the olive oil and stir until a dough forms.
- Knead: Transfer the dough to a lightly floured surface and knead for 5-7 minutes, or until smooth and elastic.
- Rise: Place the dough in a lightly oiled bowl, cover with plastic wrap, and let rise in a warm place for 1 hour, or until doubled in size.
- Prepare the filling: In a small bowl, combine the mozzarella cheese, cheddar cheese, and basil.
- Roll and fill: On a lightly floured surface, roll out the dough into a 12-inch circle. Spread the melted butter over the dough.
