  • 3 cups all-purpose flour
  • 1 tablespoon sugar
  • 1 teaspoon salt
  • 1 tablespoon instant yeast
  • 1 cup warm milk
  • 2 tablespoons butter (softened)
  • 1 large egg
  • 1½ cups shredded mozzarella cheese
  • ½ cup shredded cheddar cheese
  • 1 tablespoon olive oil

  1. In a large bowl, mix warm milk, sugar, and yeast. Let it sit for 5–10 minutes until foamy.
  2. Add egg, butter, salt, and olive oil. Mix well.
  3. Gradually add flour and knead until a soft dough forms. Knead for 8–10 minutes until smooth and elastic.
  4. Cover the dough and let it rise in a warm place for 1 hour or until doubled in size.
  5. Punch down the dough and roll it out. Spread mozzarella and cheddar cheese evenly.
  6. Roll the dough tightly and shape into a loaf or divide into small buns.
  7. Place in a greased baking pan. Cover and let rise again for 30 minutes.
  8. Bake at 180°C (350°F) for 20–25 minutes or until golden brown.
  9. Brush with melted butter after baking for extra softness.
