Cauliflower with Broccoli

Ingredients

  • 1 medium head of cauliflower, cut into florets
  • 1 medium head of broccoli, cut into florets
  • 2 tbsp olive oil
  • 2 cloves garlic, minced
  • Salt and pepper, to taste
  • 1/2 tsp paprika (optional)
  • 1/4 cup grated Parmesan cheese (optional)
  • Lemon wedges for serving (optional)

Instructions

  1. Preheat the oven to 400°F (200°C).
  2. In a large bowl, toss the cauliflower and broccoli florets with olive oil, minced garlic, salt, pepper, and paprika (if using).
  3. Spread the vegetables evenly on a baking sheet lined with parchment paper or foil.
  4. Roast in the oven for 20-25 minutes, stirring halfway through, until the vegetables are tender and slightly browned.
  5. Optional: Sprinkle the grated Parmesan cheese over the roasted vegetables in the last 5 minutes of cooking for a cheesy finish.
  6. Remove from the oven and serve with a squeeze of fresh lemon juice, if desired.
