Ingredients

  • 1 cup all-purpose flour
  • ½ cup water
  • 1 tbsp sugar
  • ½ tsp salt
  • 1 tbsp butter (melted)
  • ½ tsp vanilla extract (optional)
  • ½ cup brown sugar
  • 2 tbsp butter
  • ¼ cup heavy cream
  • ½ tsp cinnamon (optional)
  • Ice cream or whipped cream (for serving)

Instructions:

  1. Prepare the Dumpling Dough:
    • In a bowl, mix flour, sugar, and salt.
    • Add melted butter and water gradually, mixing until a soft dough forms.
    • Knead the dough for about 5 minutes until smooth. Let it rest for 10 minutes.
  2. Shape and Cook the Dumplings:
    • Roll the dough into small bite-sized dumplings.
    • Bring a pot of water to a boil and cook the dumplings for about 3-4 minutes until they float.
