Caramel Chocolate Crunch Bars Recipe

Ingredients:

  • Crust:
    • 12 whole graham crackers  
  • Caramel Layer:
    • 11 ounces (1 package) Kraft Caramel Bits  
    • 2 tablespoons milk  
  • Toppings:
    • 1/2 cup salted peanuts  
    • 1/2 cup honey roasted pistachios
    • 2/3 cup broken pretzel pieces
    • 1/2 cup miniature marshmallows  
  • Chocolate Drizzle:
    • 6 ounces semi-sweet chocolate chips

Instructions:

  1. Prepare the pan: Cover a 15×10 sheet pan with foil. Lightly spray the foil with cooking spray.
  2. Make the crust: Arrange the graham crackers in a single layer on the bottom of the pan, cutting to fit if necessary.
  3. Melt the caramel: Combine the caramel bits and milk in a microwave-safe bowl. Microwave on high for 2 minutes, stirring every 30 seconds, until melted and smooth. Pour the melted caramel evenly over the graham cracker crust.  
  4. Add toppings: Sprinkle the peanuts, pistachios, pretzels, and marshmallows over the caramel layer. Press lightly to help them adhere.
  5. Melt the chocolate: Melt the chocolate chips using a double-boiler or in the microwave according to package directions.
  6. Drizzle with chocolate: Drizzle the melted chocolate evenly over the toppings.
  7. Chill and serve: Refrigerate for at least one hour to set the chocolate. Cut into bars and enjoy!  

Tips:

  • For a nut-free version, omit the peanuts and pistachios.
  • Feel free to get creative with your toppings! Try adding other candies, chopped nuts, or even dried fruit.
  • Store leftover bars in an airtight container in the refrigerator.
