Ingredients
- 2 large ripe tomatoes, sliced
- 1 ball fresh mozzarella cheese, sliced
- Fresh basil leaves
- 2 tbsp extra virgin olive oil
- 1 tbsp balsamic glaze (optional)
- Salt and freshly ground black pepper, to taste
Instructions
- On a serving plate, alternate slices of tomato and mozzarella in a circular pattern.
- Tuck whole basil leaves in between the tomato and cheese slices.
- Drizzle the olive oil evenly over the salad.
- Add a drizzle of balsamic glaze if using.
- Sprinkle with salt and black pepper to taste.
- Serve immediately and enjoy fresh!
