Cancer-Fighting Antioxidant Juice (for Wellness)

Ingredients

  • 1 medium beet (peeled and chopped)
  • 2 carrots (peeled)
  • 1 green apple (cored)
  • 1-inch piece of fresh ginger
  • 1-inch piece of fresh turmeric (or 1/2 tsp turmeric powder)
  • 1/2 lemon (peeled)
  • 1 cup spinach or kale (optional)
  • 1/2 cup water or coconut water (for blending if using a blender)

Instructions

  1. Wash all produce thoroughly.
  2. If using a juicer: Juice all ingredients and serve immediately over ice or chilled.
  3. If using a blender: Combine all ingredients with water or coconut water and blend until smooth. Strain through a fine mesh sieve or cheesecloth if you prefer a smooth juice.
  4. Drink fresh, ideally in the morning for maximum absorption.
