Cake Mix Toffee Bars

INGREDENT

  • 1 box yellow cake mix
  • 1/2 cup (1 stick) unsalted butter, melted
  • 1/3 cup milk
  • 1 large egg
  • 1 cup toffee bits (like Heath Bits o’ Brickle)
  • 1 cup semi-sweet chocolate chips
  • 1/2 cup chopped pecans (optional)
  • 1 tsp vanilla extract

Instructions

  1. Preheat oven to 350°F (175°C). Grease or line a 9×13-inch baking pan with parchment paper.
  2. Mix base: In a large bowl, combine the cake mix, melted butter, milk, egg, and vanilla. Mix until a soft dough forms.
  3. Stir in the toffee bits, chocolate chips, and pecans (if using).
  4. Press the mixture evenly into the prepared pan.
  5. Bake for 22–28 minutes, or until golden brown and the center is set.
  6. Cool completely before slicing into bars.
