- 1 box yellow cake mix
- 1/2 cup (1 stick) unsalted butter, melted

- 1 cup toffee bits (like Heath Bits o’ Brickle)
- 1 cup semi-sweet chocolate chips
- 1/2 cup chopped pecans (optional)
- 1 tsp vanilla extract
Instructions
- Preheat oven to 350°F (175°C). Grease or line a 9×13-inch baking pan with parchment paper.
- Mix base: In a large bowl, combine the cake mix, melted butter, milk, egg, and vanilla. Mix until a soft dough forms.
- Stir in the toffee bits, chocolate chips, and pecans (if using).
- Press the mixture evenly into the prepared pan.
- Bake for 22–28 minutes, or until golden brown and the center is set.
- Cool completely before slicing into bars.
