Cake – 5 Minutes, Melts in Your Mouth at the First Bite

Ingredients

  • 1 cup all-purpose flour
  • 1/2 cup sugar
  • 1/4 cup unsweetened cocoa powder
  • 1/2 tsp baking powder
  • 1/4 tsp salt
  • 1/2 cup milk
  • 1/4 cup vegetable oil
  • 1 tsp vanilla extract
  • 1/4 cup boiling water

Instructions

  1. In a large mixing bowl, combine flour, sugar, cocoa powder, baking powder, and salt.
  2. Add in the milk, vegetable oil, and vanilla extract. Mix until smooth.
  3. Gradually pour in the boiling water while stirring continuously. The batter will be thin, but that’s okay.
  4. Pour the batter into a microwave-safe mug or bowl.
  5. Microwave on high for 1 minute and 30 seconds or until a toothpick inserted comes out clean.
  6. Let the cake cool for a minute before serving. Optionally, top with whipped cream, chocolate sauce, or fresh berries.
