Ingredients
- 1 cup all-purpose flour
- ½ cup granulated sugar
- 2 large eggs
- ½ cup milk
- ¼ cup melted butter or vegetable oil
- 1 tsp vanilla extract
- 1 tsp baking powder
- A pinch of salt
Instructions
- In a mixing bowl, whisk the eggs and sugar together until light and fluffy.
- Add the milk, melted butter (or oil), and vanilla extract. Mix well.
- Sift in the flour, baking powder, and salt. Gently fold until the batter is smooth and lump-free.
- Pour the batter into a microwave-safe mug or bowl (fill only halfway to allow it to rise).
- Microwave on high for about 2-3 minutes, or until the cake is set and a toothpick comes out clean.
- Let it cool slightly, then enjoy warm — it will melt in your mouth with every bite!
