Cajun Garlic Butter Sauce

Ingredients

  • 1 cup (2 sticks) unsalted butter
  • 6 cloves garlic, minced
  • 1 tablespoon Cajun seasoning
  • 1 teaspoon smoked paprika
  • ½ teaspoon cayenne pepper (adjust to taste)
  • 1 teaspoon onion powder
  • 1 teaspoon Worcestershire sauce
  • 1 tablespoon lemon juice
  • 1 tablespoon fresh parsley, chopped (optional)
  • Salt, to taste

Instructions

  1. In a saucepan over medium heat, melt the butter.
  2. Add the minced garlic and sauté for about 1-2 minutes until fragrant.
  3. Stir in Cajun seasoning, smoked paprika, cayenne pepper, and onion powder. Cook for another minute to release the flavors.
  4. Add Worcestershire sauce and lemon juice, stirring to combine.
  5. Simmer for 2-3 minutes, stirring occasionally.
  6. Remove from heat and stir in chopped parsley if using.
  7. Taste and adjust salt if needed.
