INGREDIENTS
- 1 small head of green cabbage, shredded
- 3 large eggs
- 2 tablespoons vegetable oil (or sesame oil for extra flavor)
- 2 cloves garlic, minced
- 1 small onion, thinly sliced (optional)
- 2 tablespoons soy sauce
- Salt and pepper to taste
- Green onions or sesame seeds for garnish (optional)
INSTRUCTIONS
- Prep the Ingredients:
Wash and shred the cabbage. Crack the eggs into a bowl and whisk lightly with a pinch of salt. - Cook the Eggs:
Heat 1 tablespoon of oil in a large skillet or wok over medium heat. Pour in the eggs and scramble until just cooked. Remove and set aside. - Stir-Fry the Cabbage:
In the same skillet, add the remaining oil. Sauté the garlic (and onion if using) until fragrant, about 30 seconds. Add the shredded cabbage and stir-fry for 4–6 minutes until tender but still crisp. - Season:
Add soy sauce, salt, and pepper to taste. Stir to combine. - Combine and Serve:
Return the scrambled eggs to the pan and mix with the cabbage. Cook for 1 more minute to blend the flavors. - Garnish and Enjoy:
Serve hot, optionally garnished with chopped green onions or sesame seeds.
