- 1 cup unsalted butter, melted
- 1 cup granulated sugar
- 1 cup brown sugar, packed
- 3 large eggs

- 12 oz semi-sweet or dark chocolate (for coating)

Instructions
- Prepare the Brownies
- Preheat oven to 350°F (175°C). Grease and line an 8×8-inch baking pan.
- In a bowl, whisk melted butter, granulated sugar, and brown sugar until smooth.
- Add eggs and vanilla extract, mixing until well combined.
- Sift in flour, cocoa powder, salt, and baking powder. Fold gently until just combined.
- Stir in chocolate chips (if using).
- Bake the Brownies
- Pour batter into the prepared pan and smooth the top.
- Bake for 25-30 minutes or until a toothpick inserted comes out with a few moist crumbs.
- Let cool completely, then cut into squares or desired shapes.
