Instructions

  1. Prep the broccoli: Lightly steam the broccoli until tender but still bright green. Finely chop it and let it cool slightly.
  2. Mix the ingredients: In a large bowl, combine the chopped broccoli, cheddar cheese, Parmesan, breadcrumbs, eggs, flour, garlic, onion powder, salt, and pepper. Stir until everything is well combined.
  3. Shape the patties: Scoop about 2 tablespoons of the mixture and form it into small patties using your hands. Flatten them slightly.
  4. Cook the patties: Heat a thin layer of olive oil in a non-stick skillet over medium heat. Fry the patties for about 3–4 minutes on each side, or until golden brown and crispy.
