Ingredients

  • 2 cups finely chopped broccoli (steamed or blanched)
  • 1 cup shredded cheddar cheese
  • 1/2 cup breadcrumbs (panko or regular)
  • 1/4 cup grated Parmesan cheese
  • 2 large eggs
  • 1/4 cup chopped green onions (optional)
  • 1–2 cloves garlic, minced
  • Salt and pepper to taste
  • Olive oil for frying

Instructions

  1. Prep the Broccoli: Steam or blanch broccoli until tender, then finely chop. Pat dry with a paper towel to remove excess moisture.
  2. Mix Ingredients: In a large bowl, combine chopped broccoli, cheddar cheese, breadcrumbs, Parmesan, eggs, green onions (if using), garlic, salt, and pepper. Mix until well combined.
  3. Form Patties: Scoop a small amount of the mixture and form into patties using your hands. Press them gently to shape.
  4. Cook: Heat a little olive oil in a non-stick skillet over medium heat. Cook the patties for 3–4 minutes on each side, or until golden brown and crispy.
  5. Serve: Remove from the pan and place on a paper towel to drain. Serve warm with sour cream, ranch, or your favorite dipping sauce.
