Instructions
- Preheat oven: Set your oven to 425°F (220°C). Line a baking sheet with parchment paper or lightly grease it.
- Mix dry ingredients: In a large bowl, combine flour, baking powder, salt, and sugar.
- Add wet ingredients: Pour in the warm milk and olive oil. Mix until a sticky dough forms.
- Knead briefly: Lightly flour your surface and knead the dough for 1-2 minutes until smooth. Don’t overdo it — you want the bread light and fluffy.
- Shape the dough: Form it into a round or oval loaf, or divide into smaller rolls. Place onto your prepared baking sheet.
- Bake: Pop it into the oven for 15-18 minutes, or until golden brown and it sounds hollow when tapped.
- Cool and enjoy: Let it cool for a few minutes, then slice and serve warm with butter, jam, or your favorite spread!
