Ingredients:

  • 2 cups all-purpose flour
  • 1 tablespoon baking powder
  • 1/2 teaspoon salt
  • 1 cup warm water
  • 2 tablespoons olive oil or melted butter (optional)
  • 1 tablespoon honey or sugar (optional)

Instructions:

  1. Preheat your pan (optional for stovetop or oven): If you’re using an oven or stovetop, preheat it to medium heat. For an oven, preheat to 375°F (190°C).
  2. Mix dry ingredients: In a medium bowl, whisk together the flour, baking powder, and salt.
  3. Add wet ingredients: Gradually add the warm water, olive oil (or melted butter), and honey (or sugar) to the flour mixture. Stir until combined and forms a sticky dough.
  4. Shape the dough: Lightly flour your hands and shape the dough into a round or flat shape, depending on your preferred style of bread.
  5. Cook/ bake the bread:
    • For stovetop: Place the dough in a hot, lightly greased skillet. Cook for 4-5 minutes on each side until golden brown and cooked through.
