Bread in 10 Minutes! No Oven

Ingredients

  • 2 cups (250g) all-purpose flour
  • 1 tsp sugar
  • 1 tsp salt
  • 1 tsp baking powder
  • ¾ cup (180ml) warm milk (or water)
  • 2 tbsp vegetable oil (plus more for cooking)

Instructions

  1. In a large mixing bowl, combine flour, sugar, salt, and baking powder.
  2. Add warm milk and vegetable oil, then mix until a dough forms.
  3. Knead the dough for about 2–3 minutes until smooth and elastic.
  4. Divide the dough into 6 equal pieces and roll each into a ball.
  5. Flatten each ball into a round disc about ¼ inch thick.
  6. Heat a non-stick skillet over medium heat and lightly grease with oil.
  7. Place one disc in the skillet and cook for 1–2 minutes until bubbles form. Flip and cook the other side until golden.
  8. Repeat with the remaining dough pieces.
  9. Serve warm—perfect with butter, cheese, or your favorite dip.

Tip: For extra flavor, brush with melted garlic butter before serving.

If you want, I can also give you a soft, fluffy version with yogurt in the dough so it tastes like bakery bread but still takes only 10 minutes. Would you like that?
