Bread in 10 Minutes

Ingredients

  • 2 cups all-purpose flour
  • 1 cup plain yogurt (or milk)
  • 1 tablespoon baking powder
  • ½ teaspoon salt
  • 1 tablespoon olive oil or melted butter (optional)

Instructions

  1. In a large bowl, mix the flour, baking powder, and salt.
  2. Add the yogurt and mix until a soft dough forms. If the dough is too dry, add a splash of milk or water.
  3. Lightly dust your work surface with flour and knead the dough for 1-2 minutes until smooth.
  4. Divide the dough into small balls (about 4-6 pieces).
  5. Heat a non-stick skillet over medium heat.
  6. Roll out each ball into a flat round shape.
  7. Cook each flatbread for about 2-3 minutes on each side until golden and cooked through.
  8. Brush with olive oil or butter if desired. Serve warm!
