Ingredients
- 2 cups (250g) all-purpose flour
- 1 tsp baking powder
- ½ tsp salt
- ½ cup (120ml) plain yogurt (or milk)
- 2 tbsp vegetable oil or melted butter
- 2-4 tbsp water (as needed)
- Optional: herbs, garlic powder, or cheese for extra flavor
Instructions
- In a bowl, combine the flour, baking powder, and salt.
- Add the yogurt and oil, then mix until a soft dough forms. If the dough is too dry, add water a tablespoon at a time until it comes together.
- Knead the dough for 2-3 minutes until smooth.
- Divide into 4-6 equal pieces and roll each piece into a flat circle about ¼ inch thick.
- Heat a non-stick skillet over medium heat.
- Place one flatbread in the hot skillet and cook for 2-3 minutes on each side, or until golden and puffed.
- Repeat with the remaining dough.
- Brush with a little melted butter or olive oil and enjoy warm!
