INGREDIENTS

  • 2 medium apples, cored and chopped
  • 1-inch piece of fresh ginger, peeled and sliced
  • 1/2 teaspoon ground cinnamon (or 1 cinnamon stick)
  • 1–2 teaspoons honey (optional, for sweetness)
  • 2 cups water
  • Juice of half a lemon (optional, for extra detox boost)

INSTRUCTIONS:

  1. In a small saucepan, combine the apples, ginger, cinnamon, and water.
  2. Bring to a boil over medium-high heat, then reduce to low and simmer for 10–15 minutes.
  3. Remove from heat and let cool slightly. Strain the liquid into a cup or jar.
  4. Stir in honey and lemon juice if using.
