INGREDIENTS
- 2 medium apples, cored and chopped
- 1-inch piece of fresh ginger, peeled and sliced
- 1/2 teaspoon ground cinnamon (or 1 cinnamon stick)
- 1–2 teaspoons honey (optional, for sweetness)
- 2 cups water
- Juice of half a lemon (optional, for extra detox boost)
INSTRUCTIONS:
- In a small saucepan, combine the apples, ginger, cinnamon, and water.
- Bring to a boil over medium-high heat, then reduce to low and simmer for 10–15 minutes.
- Remove from heat and let cool slightly. Strain the liquid into a cup or jar.
- Stir in honey and lemon juice if using.
- Enjoy warm, or chill and serve over ice for a refreshing immunity-boosting drink.
