Ingredients
- Peels of 2–3 oranges (fresh or dried)
- 6–8 whole cloves
- 3 cups of water
- 1–2 cinnamon sticks (optional, for extra aroma)
- 1 tbsp honey or sugar (optional, for sweetness)
Instructions
- Wash the orange peels thoroughly to remove any wax or residue.
- In a saucepan, bring 3 cups of water to a boil.
- Add the orange peels and cloves (and cinnamon sticks if using).
- Lower the heat and let it simmer for 10–15 minutes, allowing the aroma to release.
- Turn off the heat, cover, and let it steep for another 5 minutes.
- Strain into cups. Add honey or sugar if desired.
- Serve warm as a soothing drink or use the fragrant liquid as a natural air freshener.
Would you like me to present it as a tea recipe (for drinking) or as a natural home remedy/air freshener? (Both were common uses by grandmothers.)
