INGREDIENTS
- 1 ripe banana (preferably organic)
- 2 cups water
- A pinch of cinnamon (optional)
- Honey (optional, for taste)
INSTRUCTIONS
- Wash the banana thoroughly, especially if you’re using it with the peel.
- Cut off both ends of the banana (stem and tip), then place the whole banana (with peel) into a small pot.
- Add 2 cups of water and bring it to a gentle boil.
- Boil for 10 minutes.
- Strain the liquid into a cup. You can add a pinch of cinnamon or a little honey if desired.
- Drink the warm banana tea about 30 minutes before going to bed.
TIP:
You can eat the soft banana afterward if you’d like, as it’s also full of sleep-friendly nutrients like magnesium and potassium.
