BOIL EGG

Ingredients

  • Eggs (as many as you like)
  • Water
  • Salt (optional)

Instructions

  1. Place the eggs in a saucepan in a single layer.
  2. Fill the saucepan with enough cold water to cover the eggs by about an inch.
  3. Add a pinch of salt if you like (helps prevent cracking).
  4. Place the pan on the stove over medium-high heat and bring the water to a gentle boil.
  5. Once the water reaches a rolling boil, cover the pan with a lid, turn off the heat, and let the eggs sit for:
    • Soft-boiled: 4–6 minutes
    • Medium-boiled: 7–9 minutes
    • Hard-boiled: 10–12 minutes
  6. When the time is up, drain the hot water and transfer the eggs to a bowl of ice water to stop the cooking. Let them cool for 5–10 minutes.
  7. Gently crack the shells and peel.

Enjoy your perfectly boiled eggs! 🥚✨
