Ingredients
- 1 ripe banana (organic if possible)
- 1 teaspoon ground cinnamon (or 1 cinnamon stick)
- 2 cups water
- Optional: 1 teaspoon honey (for taste)
Instructions
- Peel the banana and cut off both ends.
- Bring 2 cups of water to a boil in a small pot.
- Add the whole banana (or sliced) and the cinnamon (stick or ground) to the boiling water.
- Reduce the heat and let it simmer for about 10 minutes.
- Remove from heat and strain the tea into a cup.
- If desired, add honey to sweeten.
- Drink the banana cinnamon tea about 1 hour before bedtime to help relax and promote better sleep.
