- 1 cup granulated sugar
- 1 teaspoon baking powder
- 3 cups all-purpose flour
- 1 cup unsalted butter, chilled and cut into cubes
- 1 egg

- Zest of 1 lemon
- 4 cups fresh or frozen blueberries
- 1/2 cup granulated sugar (for filling)
- 4 teaspoons cornstarch
Instructions:
- Preheat your oven to 375°F (190°C). Grease a 9×13-inch baking dish or line it with parchment paper.
- In a medium mixing bowl, combine 1 cup sugar, baking powder, flour, and salt. Add lemon zest and mix well.
- Add the cubed butter and egg to the dry ingredients. Use a pastry cutter or fork to blend the mixture until crumbly.
- Press half of the crumb mixture into the prepared baking dish to form the base layer.
