Ingredients
- 4 large eggs
- 1 cup granulated sugar
- 1 cup whole milk (or any milk of your choice)
- ½ cup vegetable oil (or melted butter)
- 1½ cups all-purpose flour
- 1 tbsp baking powder
- 1 tsp vanilla extract
- Pinch of salt
Instructions
- Preheat your oven to 350°F (180°C). Grease and flour a round or rectangular cake pan.
- In a blender, add the eggs and sugar. Blend for about 1–2 minutes until the mixture is pale and frothy.
- Add the milk, oil, and vanilla extract. Blend again for a few seconds until well combined.
- Add the flour, baking powder, and pinch of salt. Blend on low speed just until the batter is smooth and lump-free. Do not overmix.
- Pour the batter into the prepared pan and gently tap it on the counter to remove any air bubbles.
- Bake for about 30–40 minutes or until a toothpick inserted into the center comes out clean.
- Let the cake cool in the pan for 10 minutes, then transfer to a wire rack to cool completely.
- Dust with powdered sugar or frost as desired. Enjoy!
