Ingredients
- 2 large eggs
- ½ cup all-purpose flour
- ½ cup breadcrumbs (panko or regular)
- ¼ teaspoon salt
- ¼ teaspoon black pepper
- ½ teaspoon paprika (optional)
- Oil for frying (vegetable or canola)
Instructions
- Boil the eggs: Place the eggs in a pot, cover with cold water, and bring to a boil. Once boiling, reduce heat and simmer for 8–10 minutes. Remove, cool in cold water, then peel.
- Prepare coating: Place flour in one bowl, beat one extra egg in another bowl, and put breadcrumbs mixed with salt, pepper, and paprika in a third bowl.
- Coat the eggs: Roll each boiled egg in flour, dip in beaten egg, then coat well with breadcrumbs.
- Fry: Heat oil in a pan over medium heat. Fry the coated eggs until golden brown and crispy on all sides (about 2–3 minutes).
- Drain & Serve: Remove and drain on paper towels. Serve hot with your favorite dip or sauce.
Tip: For extra crunch, double-coat the eggs (dip again in egg and breadcrumbs).
