Ingredients:
- Potatoes – 4 medium
- 1 Egg
- 2 tbsp Cornstarch (or flour)
- Salt – to taste
- Pepper – to taste
- Oil – for frying
Instructions:
- Peel and cut potatoes into thin fries.
- Soak fries in cold water for 30 minutes, then drain and pat dry.
- Beat the egg in a small bowl and dip fries in it.
- Toss fries with cornstarch, salt, and pepper until coated.
- Heat oil in a pan and fry fries until golden and crispy.
- Drain on paper towels and serve hot.
Tips:
- For extra crispiness, fry twice: first at low heat, then at high heat.
- Serve with ketchup, mayo, or your favorite dipping sauce.
- Don’t overcrowd the pan—fry in batches.
