Ingredients
- 1 green tea bag or 1 teaspoon loose green tea
- 1 small clove of garlic, finely minced or grated
- 1 cup hot water (not boiling, about 175°F/80°C)
- 1 teaspoon honey (optional, for sweetness)
- A few drops of lemon juice (optional, for flavor)
Instructions
- Heat the water to the appropriate temperature (about 175°F/80°C). Avoid boiling, as it may make the tea bitter.
- Place the green tea bag or loose tea in a cup. Pour the hot water over the tea and let it steep for 3-5 minutes.
- While the tea is steeping, prepare the garlic by finely mincing or grating it.
- Once the tea is ready, remove the tea bag or strain the loose tea.
- Stir in the minced garlic. Allow the mixture to sit for 2-3 minutes so the garlic can infuse.
- Add honey and lemon juice, if desired, to enhance the flavor.
- Stir well and enjoy your health-boosting tea warm.
