Ingredients
- 1 lb breakfast sausage (or bacon/ham), cooked and crumbled
- 6 large eggs
- 2 cups milk
- 1 tsp salt
- ½ tsp black pepper
- ½ tsp garlic powder
- ½ tsp onion powder
- 2 cups shredded cheese (cheddar, mozzarella, or your favorite)
- 4 cups frozen hash browns (or cubed bread)
- ½ cup diced bell peppers (optional)
- ½ cup diced onions (optional)
Instructions
- Preheat Oven: Set to 350°F (175°C). Grease a 9×13-inch baking dish.
- Layer Ingredients: Spread hash browns (or bread) evenly in the dish. Add cooked sausage, peppers, and onions.
- Prepare Egg Mixture: In a bowl, whisk eggs, milk, salt, pepper, garlic powder, and onion powder. Pour over the casserole.
- Top with Cheese: Sprinkle shredded cheese on top.
- Bake: Cover with foil and bake for 30 minutes. Remove foil and bake for another 15-20 minutes, or until eggs are set and top is golden brown.
- Cool & Serve: Let sit for 5 minutes before slicing. Enjoy!
