Ingredients

  • 1 lb breakfast sausage (or bacon/ham), cooked and crumbled
  • 6 large eggs
  • 2 cups milk
  • 1 tsp salt
  • ½ tsp black pepper
  • ½ tsp garlic powder
  • ½ tsp onion powder
  • 2 cups shredded cheese (cheddar, mozzarella, or your favorite)
  • 4 cups frozen hash browns (or cubed bread)
  • ½ cup diced bell peppers (optional)
  • ½ cup diced onions (optional)

Instructions

  1. Preheat Oven: Set to 350°F (175°C). Grease a 9×13-inch baking dish.
  2. Layer Ingredients: Spread hash browns (or bread) evenly in the dish. Add cooked sausage, peppers, and onions.
  3. Prepare Egg Mixture: In a bowl, whisk eggs, milk, salt, pepper, garlic powder, and onion powder. Pour over the casserole.
  4. Top with Cheese: Sprinkle shredded cheese on top.
