- 1 (5.1 oz) box instant vanilla pudding mix
- 2 cups cold milk
- 1 (14 oz) can sweetened condensed milk
- 1 tbsp vanilla extract
- 1 (8 oz) container whipped topping (like Cool Whip), thawed
- 1 box vanilla wafer cookies (such as Nilla Wafers)
- 4–5 ripe bananas, sliced
Instructions
- In a large bowl, whisk together the instant pudding mix and cold milk for about 2 minutes until it starts to thicken.
- Stir in the sweetened condensed milk and vanilla extract until smooth.
- Fold in the whipped topping until fully combined and creamy.
- In a 9×13-inch dish, layer the bottom with vanilla wafer cookies.
- Add a layer of sliced bananas over the cookies.
- Spoon and spread a layer of the pudding mixture over the bananas.
- Repeat the layers until all ingredients are used, finishing with a layer of pudding on top.
- Cover and refrigerate for at least 4 hours (or overnight) for the flavors to meld and the cookies to soften.
- Optional: Top with extra whipped topping, crushed vanilla wafers, or banana slices before serving.
