Ingredients

  • 1 (5.1 oz) box instant vanilla pudding mix
  • 2 cups cold milk
  • 1 (14 oz) can sweetened condensed milk
  • 1 tbsp vanilla extract
  • 1 (8 oz) container whipped topping (like Cool Whip), thawed
  • 1 box vanilla wafer cookies (such as Nilla Wafers)
  • 4–5 ripe bananas, sliced

Instructions

  1. In a large bowl, whisk together the instant pudding mix and cold milk for about 2 minutes until it starts to thicken.
  2. Stir in the sweetened condensed milk and vanilla extract until smooth.
  3. Fold in the whipped topping until fully combined and creamy.
  4. In a 9×13-inch dish, layer the bottom with vanilla wafer cookies.
  5. Add a layer of sliced bananas over the cookies.
  6. Spoon and spread a layer of the pudding mixture over the bananas.
  7. Repeat the layers until all ingredients are used, finishing with a layer of pudding on top.
  8. Cover and refrigerate for at least 4 hours (or overnight) for the flavors to meld and the cookies to soften.
