Ingredients
- 1 lb thinly sliced beef (such as flank steak or sirloin)
- 1/2 cup breadcrumbs
- 1/4 cup grated Parmesan cheese
- 1/4 cup chopped parsley
- 2 cloves garlic, minced
- 1/2 teaspoon dried oregano
- 1/2 teaspoon salt
- 1/4 teaspoon black pepper
- 1 tablespoon olive oil (for searing)
- 1 cup marinara sauce (or tomato sauce)
- 1/2 cup shredded mozzarella cheese (optional)
- Toothpicks (for securing rolls)
Instructions
- Preheat your oven to 375°F (190°C).
- Lay the beef slices flat on a cutting board. In a small bowl, combine breadcrumbs, Parmesan, parsley, garlic, oregano, salt, and pepper.
- Place a spoonful of the breadcrumb mixture onto each beef slice and roll it tightly. Secure with toothpicks.
- Heat olive oil in a large skillet over medium-high heat. Sear the beef rolls on all sides until browned, about 2-3 minutes per side.
- Once browned, transfer the beef rolls to a baking dish. Pour marinara sauce over the rolls, ensuring they are coated.
- If using mozzarella, sprinkle it over the top of the rolls.
- Bake for 20-25 minutes, or until the beef is cooked through and the cheese (if used) is melted and bubbly.
- Remove from the oven, discard the toothpicks, and serve hot.
Enjoy your delicious beef rolls!
