Beef Roll Recipe

Ingredients

  • 1 lb thinly sliced beef (such as flank steak or sirloin)
  • 1/2 cup breadcrumbs
  • 1/4 cup grated Parmesan cheese
  • 1/4 cup chopped parsley
  • 2 cloves garlic, minced
  • 1/2 teaspoon dried oregano
  • 1/2 teaspoon salt
  • 1/4 teaspoon black pepper
  • 1 tablespoon olive oil (for searing)
  • 1 cup marinara sauce (or tomato sauce)
  • 1/2 cup shredded mozzarella cheese (optional)
  • Toothpicks (for securing rolls)

Instructions

  1. Preheat your oven to 375°F (190°C).
  2. Lay the beef slices flat on a cutting board. In a small bowl, combine breadcrumbs, Parmesan, parsley, garlic, oregano, salt, and pepper.
  3. Place a spoonful of the breadcrumb mixture onto each beef slice and roll it tightly. Secure with toothpicks.
  4. Heat olive oil in a large skillet over medium-high heat. Sear the beef rolls on all sides until browned, about 2-3 minutes per side.
  5. Once browned, transfer the beef rolls to a baking dish. Pour marinara sauce over the rolls, ensuring they are coated.
  6. If using mozzarella, sprinkle it over the top of the rolls.
  7. Bake for 20-25 minutes, or until the beef is cooked through and the cheese (if used) is melted and bubbly.
  8. Remove from the oven, discard the toothpicks, and serve hot.

Enjoy your delicious beef rolls!
